The Platform

The system is hosted in cloud within the state of the art technologies offered by
Amazon server in Sydney. The clients will enjoy the strength of the robust
platform which has a strong record of security.

CAMS complies with the asset management strategies advocated by the
Institution of Public Works Engineers Australia (IPWEA) and the Tertiary
Education Facilities Management Association (TEFMA).

Benifits

  • CAMS enables asset portfolio managers to take a proactive approach to civil infrastructure asset management.
  • The forecasting capability enables long term planning, reduces down time of assets and increases reliability.
  • Value proposition–asset owners can reduce the frequency of inspections and use forecasting to plan maintenance.
  • CAMS iPad app ensures accurate data by live validation with previous records. Inspectors have the option of capturing any maintenance needs or hazardous materials including photographs.
  • Once a full data set is collected and forecasting and analysis is completed, the next inspection only needs to cover components at critical stages.
  • CAMS team will guide the asset inspectors to use the iPad app and assist the asset managers in first time uploading and forecasting with the data.

Central asset management

CAMS-Buildings incorporates stochastic deterioration models developed for 720 components of a building
using discrete condition data validated and calibrated. It uses sustainability indicators sourced from
over 100 local government agencies. It incorporates a life cycle costing module including building
maintenance, refurbishment, energy and other operating costs. Scenario based analysis allows the asset
owner to generate cost and risk forecasts for the building portfolio using the discrete condition data gathered
from inspections.

CAMS-Drainage provides deterioration models for storm water pipes and uses artificial intelligence to determine the hot spots in the drainage network considering the historical data as well as influential parameters.

CAMS-Bridges incorporates deterioration models for over 70 bridge components based on data analytics.

CAMS has integrated novel techniques developed through academic research in to practical solutions. A unique value proposition is the continuous innovation offered to all clients as the academic outcomes are delivered. Currently, CAMS covers buildings, drainage assets and bridges. This is being expanded to other general asset classes such as footpaths and park assets as well as road pavements.Scenario analysis,

Scenario analysis, level of service, cumulative backlog and asset risk analysis provides the practitioner with comprehensive tools for decision making.

Integration with a business intelligence tool provides the user with the ability to customize and generate their own reports live by combining different parameters.

New modules in development include energy retrofitting of buildings, disaster resilience of bridges, automated inspections using RFIDs and building information modeling.

  • Inspection time reduced by a third. Component count increased three-fold

Building Inspections

CAMS mobile for Buildings is a more efficient system
for determining the condition of buildings. It reduces the time organisations need
to spend inspecting the condition of buildings and provides a thorough
assessment, reducing the frequency of inspections.

We understand that the predictions are only as good as the data! Need to avoid the situation of “garbage in-garbage out”.

Our CAMS-mobile inspection app is currently fully functional for buildings.

The module includes asset location capture, condition and risk capture with images attached to each asset. Validation with previous data set ensures that your inspections are repeatable.

The business intelligence platform linked to CAMS-mobile provides the inspector with reports of their performance. The administration console enables the inspector admin full control of all the inspectors and the data that is being collected in the field in real time.

Future Proofing

Future proofing with continuing innovation is an intrinsic part of CAMS.

The system is developed with capability for integrating with other systems and
also addition of new modules as they are developed.

We are developing apps for other infrastructure systems.
